Debbie Reynolds is a singer, dancer and actress from El Paso, Texas whose long, successful career in show business has crafted for her a place as one of America's most iconic stars. Devoting her life to the stage, Reynolds would begin performing in the 1950s as a movie musical star and would rise to international fame for her role as Kathy Seldon in the 1952 film Singing in the Rain.
