ST 37 is an indie psychedelic rock jam band from Austin, Texas and is perhaps one of the city's most eminent cult bands since its formation in 1987. Joining Austin's list of legendary bands that have preferred to explore the more bizarre side of music, ST 37 has successfully taken over the reigns of leading the city's thriving underground psychedelic rock scene. Although ST 37's recorded output is incredibly sparse when compared to the band's over 20 years of live performance experience, one gets the sense that the band members' creativity flourishes in the spontaneous atmosphere of performing what music comes to their head live--and really, isn't that what pure art is all about?
