Dabrye

Ann Arbor, Michigan-based musician Tadd Mullinix, who releases music under the Dabrye guise, makes beat-intensive instrumental hip-hop music. Incorporating elements of early electro and modern glitch, Mullinix's approach to sonic composition is undeniably original and worthy of repeated listens. Mullinix released his debut LP, One/Three, in 2001 and the material helped establish the producer as a musician who crafts memorable electronic music that doesn't necessarily force listeners to dance.
