As primary guitarist and occasional songwriter for the seminal Britpop band Blur, Graham Coxon helped write easy to like songs that marked his group as one of the most popular bands to come out of England in the 1990s. After relations became tense with other members in the group, Coxon left the band to concentrate on his solo endeavors in 2002, though he had been releasing solo work since 1998. With a penchant for garage rock and classic English folk music, Coxon's material is varied and often changes from album to album. His skills and attention to detail are always top notch and whatever style of music Coxon chooses to create, his knack for writing quality songs is always evident.
