Atlanta-based five-piece Foundation has found itself referred to as the leading straightedge hardcore band. After opening for a veteran group of the genre, Have Heart, on its final tour, the band seemed to pass the torch to Foundation. Quickly drawing comparisons to the stalwart it helped send off, Foundation was signed to Have Heart's record label Bridge Nine and the band members picked up where their forefathers left off, touring its brand of hardcore punk around the country.
