Formed in 2008, Jumping Ships is an English four-piece that plays a polished blend of alt-rock and pop punk. Though the band is still in the young, somewhat formative years of its career, it's nevertheless managed to accrue some solid touring experiences, performing at notable UK festivals such as Glastonbury and The Great Escape. The group takes a big chunk of its inspiration from the progressive punk and art rock of band's such as At The Drive-In and ...Trail of Dead, but presents it all in a much slicker, radio-friendly package full of crisp, angular guitars and propulsive rhythms. Jumping Ships' debut EP, Orientation, was released in 2010.
