Darkstar is a three-piece electronic group from northern England that broke out onto the scene in 2009 with the release of its critically-acclaimed single "Aidy's Girl is a Computer" and has continued to raise its profile with critics and audiences ever since. Taking full advantage of England's ever-increasing fascination with the dubstep genre, Darkstar has made the decision to set itself apart from more conventional acts in the genre by showcasing its members' incredible songwriting talent and tasteful use of synths. Since releasing its debut album North in 2010, Darkstar has become one of the more celebrated pop-inspired dubstep acts on Britain's independent music scene today.
