Team Bayside High (a kitschy reference to early 1990s television show, Saved by the Bell) is an electronic production team of Derek Berry and Rick Carrico that focuses on creating electro-fueled dance tracks. The Chicago-based duo first partnered up while co-creating "Rehab Mondays," a weekly dance party aimed at eliminating overwrought tracks in favor of straight-forward party jams. This collaboration led to Berry and Carrico's creation of original material, which falls right into line with the songs the two love to play during their DJ sets. Team Bayside High's songs are full of rudimentary but effective synth hooks and pounding house pulses--a perfect combination for trying to get a party sparked on moment's notice. Besides their DJ sets and original tracks, Berry and Carrico have also started producing remixes for other artists.
