Earning her fame as a Youtube sensation, Kate McGill was originally known for her pop covers, particularly for her rendition of Adele's "Someone Like You" which tallied more than three million views in just over a year. A UK native, McGill first aired on BBC Radio in 2008 and beat 2,000 other performers in Tesco Entertaniment's 2010 1Click2Fame competition for the grand prize of 100,000 euros. Riding the wave of her internet success, McGill released her debut album Replaced, in 2012.
