The Defiled

The Defiled is a London-based metal band that has gained a reputation in the UK underground metal scene for its chaotic live performances. Formed in 2008, the band earned a loyal fan base by distributing demos at its early shows and by releasing its debut album, Grave Times, as a free download in 2011. The same year, the band headlined the Jagermeister stage at the Sonisphere music festival and was nominated for the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for "Best New British Band." By the end of 2011, The Defiled had wrapped up its second headlining tour despite having existed for barely three years.
