Jennifer Rostock is an electro-infused punk rock band based in Berlin. Formed by vocalist Jennifer Weist and keyboardist Johannes Walter-Müller in 2007, the band's hard-edged but glossy take on pop punk has found a sizable audience in its native Germany. The band has managed to branch out to the rest of Western Europe and beyond in the process. The use of vintage keyboards and synthesizers in combination with the crunchy guitars adds a touch of 1980s sheen to Rostock's music. Her band is just as likely to attract the modern electropop crowd as it will punk rock devotees.
