Angela Winbush is an American singer, songwriter, and producer who has been active in the music industry since the early 1980s. She is best known for her work with R&B duo René & Angela, which she formed with her then-husband René Moore. Together, they released two albums, Wall to Wall (1979) and Rise (1983), which spawned the hit singles "I'll Be Good," "Save Your Love (For #1)," and "Your Smile." Winbush also released two solo albums, Sharp (1987) and It's the Real Thing (1992). Her solo work includes the singles "Angel," "No More Tears," and "Treat U Rite." Winbush has also written and produced songs for other artists, including Stephanie Mills, Chaka Khan, and Tevin Campbell.
