Angele Dubeau is a Canadian violinist and conductor who has been performing for over 30 years. She is best known for her interpretations of classical music, but she has also explored other genres such as jazz, pop, and world music. Her discography includes over 30 albums, including her most recent release, “The Canadian Violin Concertos”. She has also released several live albums, including “Live at the National Arts Centre” and “Live at the Montreal International Jazz Festival”. Angele Dubeau has performed with some of the world’s most renowned orchestras, including the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and the National Arts Centre Orchestra. She has also collaborated with many renowned artists, including Yo-Yo Ma, Renee Fleming, and the Kronos Quartet. In addition to her performances, she is also the founder and artistic director of La Pieta, an all-female string orchestra. Angele Dubeau has received numerous awards and accolades for her work, including the Order of Canada, the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award, and the Prix Opus. She has also been nominated for several Juno Awards and has been featured in the documentary “The Violin Player”. Angele Dubeau is an accomplished musician who has dedicated her life to the art of music.
