Doomriders is an American heavy metal band from Boston, Massachusetts. Formed in 2002, the band consists of vocalist/guitarist Nate Newton, guitarist Chris Pupecki, bassist Jeff Rose, and drummer Dave Witte. The band has released four studio albums, Darkness Come Alive (2005), Grand Blood (2013), and Heavy Lies the Crown (2015). Doomriders' sound is a mix of classic metal, punk, and hardcore, with a heavy emphasis on groove and melody. Their music is characterized by its intense energy and powerful riffs, as well as its melodic and often anthemic choruses. The band has toured extensively throughout the US and Europe, and has shared the stage with acts such as Mastodon, Converge, and High on Fire.
