Drew Hastings is an American stand-up comedian and politician from Ohio. Born in Casablanca, Morocco to an English mother and American father, he spent most of his life in different areas of Ohio. He ventured into comedy for the first time in his thirties, after moving to L.A. in the early 1990s. While there, he made a name for himself with one-man shows like Commencement Speech, Life & Other Short Stories and The Business of Living, and amassed a huge fan following. Over the course of his career, Hastings has had the opportunity to work with big-name networks like HBO, Fox and NBC, to name a few, and perform on shows like The Tonight Show. He has appeared in the films Melvin Goes to Dinner and Let's Go to Prison, and television shows like The Peter Principle and The Big Wide World of Carl Laemke. He has also released several albums including I'm Just Like You, I Have No Fight With You People and Playing to the Oddience. In 2011, he ran for and became the mayor of Hillsboro, OH.
