Fangoria, a Spanish electropop duo, comprises Olvido Gara (known as Alaska, lead vocals, occasional guitar) and Nacho Canut (keyboards, occasional bass guitar). Since 1989, Fangoria has sold 1 million records worldwide. Previously, they were part of Alaska y los Pegamoides in 1977, and later Alaska y Dinarama in 1982 during La Movida Madrileña. In 1989, they transformed into Fangoria, inspired by American horror film magazine. Embracing electropop, they created dance-pop electronica albums. Their famous songs include "¿A quién le importa?," "Ni tú ni nadie," and "Absolutamente." Their music often contrasts tragic lyrics with up-tempo and disco-oriented beats.
