Greg Brown

Greg Brown is a folk singer/songwriter and musician from Fairfield, Iowa. After spending years traveling around the US, he returned to his hometown and slowly began collecting a following on the local show circuit. Brown self-released two records, his 1980 debut 44 & 66, and 1981's The Iowa Waltz, before signing as the first artist on the imprint Red House Records. He has since recorded over two dozen albums, earning modest acclaim for records like Further In and Slant 6 Mind, and continues to play live showcases of his alternative country-tinged folk.
