Los Muecas, a Mexican ballad group hailing from Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, emerged in 1968. They are best remembered for their 1972 single "Qué ironía." Originally fronted by José Refugio "Artemio" Pérez Ramírez until 1975, they recorded hits like "Sabor amargo" and "Triste adiós." Edelmiro "Milo" González then took over, contributing to songs like "Pa' que sientas lo que siento" and "Mi único camino." Francisco "Pancho" Mendoza joined in 1977, followed by Juan Miranda. With Alonso Cordero as the current vocalist, Los Muecas continue their legacy, blending themes and styles while capturing the essence of Mexican balladry.
