Mark Lind, a singer-songwriter hailing from Melrose, MA, immersed himself in the local punk and hardcore scenes of Charlestown, Boston, after his family's relocation. In 1995, Lind co-founded Duck Boys with Jason Messina, assuming roles as lead vocalist and bassist. Their releases, "No Gettin' Out" (1997) and "Dark Days" (1998) on GMM Records, earned acclaim within the Boston punk circuit. Despite their prominence, the band disbanded, leaving behind recorded demos and unreleased material. Lind's early experiences laid the foundation for his enduring journey as a musician and songwriter.
