The New Zealand comedy duo Flight of the Conchords flew into the public spotlight after HBO commissioned the band for a television show in 2007. The show carried on for two seasons and gave its actors mainstream success. The band - featuring two guys with acoustic guitars playing folksy inspired comedy songs - now focuses on live shows.
