Troy Donald Jamerson, who performs and releases music as Pharoahe Monch, is a rapper from New York City. Jamerson would go on to release a number of well-received albums with the hip-hop collective Organized Konfusion throughout the 1990s before releasing his debut solo LP, Internal Affairs, in 1999. Acclaimed for his intricate rapping technique, Jamerson has been praised for his ability to craft complex and intelligent raps.
