Sachal Vasandani

Sachal Vasandani is a jazz singer-songwriter, composer and an improviser from Chicago. He studied jazz and classical music from the University of Michigan and rose to fame after being named Collegiate Jazz Vocalist of the Year in 1999 by Down Beat magazine. His unique improvisation style, rich sound texture and creative ability to enhance lyrics makes him stand out in the jazz scene. Sachal Vasandani has performed alongside jazz legends Wynton Marsalis, Bobby McFerrin, Michael Feinstein and many others.
