Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra is a Canadian group that plays alongside a choir and majorly plays early music. The orchestra was founded in 1979 and is known to play numerous concerts in each season in Toronto, where it is originally based in. It typically plays with historical techniques and uses traditional instruments. The orchestra hosts various events throughout the year including their annual Messiah and Sing Along Messiah, both of which have gained tremendous support and are highly awaited during Toronto's Christmas season. It has also produced various recordings including Bach's Brandenburg Concertos, Works by Wilhelm Friedemann Bach and Works by Salamone Rossi.
