Louisiana Red

Louisiana Red is a legendary musician that plays Louisiana Blues. With quite the turbulent past, losing both his parents at an early age--his mother to pneumonia and his father to a lynching by the Ku Klux Klan--Iverson Minter was raised by various relatives in various cities and soon turned to music. In 1949, Minter was singed to the highly respected Chess Records under the moniker Louisiana Red. With a highly extensive discography and multiple awards to his name, Louisiana Red continues to perform in his ripe old age today.
