Within the Ruins

Within the Ruins is a metalcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts that's known for its knack of blending elements of progressive metal within a hard lined deathcore structure. Founded in 2003, Within the Ruins has distinguished itself from the myriad of other hard rock acts out there by stressing an importance on technical adeptness and instrumental virtuosity. Though the band has never achieved crossover appeal or an international following, it hasn't deterred Within the Ruins from becoming a stalwart act of the New England metal scene.
