Looptroop Rockers is a hip-hop outfit that emerged out of Västerås, Sweden 1991. The quartet established itself as a new force of Swedish rap with its 1993 debut album, Superstars. After two more EPs, Looptroop Rockers established its own imprint, David Vs. Goliath, also known as DVSG, in 1998. The label propelled the group out of the underground with the released of its first full-length LP, Modern Day City Symphony, in 2000. Looptroop Rockers has since continued release its own music while also strengthening the broader hip-hop community in Sweden by championing the music of its contemporaries.
