Martin Grubinger is a percussionist from Austria who was recognized as somewhat of a prodigy at an early age. As a teenager, he participated in international competitions such as the Marimba World Competition in Okaya, Japan where he was a finalist. After finishing music school he began to play some of the most renowned venues in the world, including New York's Carnegie Hall, Amsterdam's Concertgebouw and the Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels. In addition to his work as a composer for movies and various productions, Grubinger has created and performed solos for up-and-coming composers such as Anders Koppel, Rolf Wallin and Avner Dorman.
