Born and raised on a Hertfordshire farm, Karen Barrow decided to leave the countryside for greener pastures and seek out a career as a pop idol. Donning the pseudonym Scarlette Fever, the British songstress found help from members of Metrophonic and Snow Patrol, who co-wrote and produced much of Barrow's 2011 debut album, a cinematic spectacle of accessible pop balladry, laden with anthemic hooks and sultry vocals. Winning the respect of many prominent pop musicians, Scarlette Fever has already toured with the likes of Mike and the Mechanics, performed at many UK Pride Parades and found a place on the summer tour bracket.
