With a band name like Courage My Love, one might assume that the group creates teen-friendly emo pop, and one would be right. The Ontario trio was formed by teenage twin sisters Mercedes and Phoenix Arn-Horn and fellow high schooler David Blake-Dickson in 2010. Though the band had barely been together a year, by 2011 it had drawn in a devoted fan base and won over critics, impressed with a hardcore-leaning pop punk band not only fronted by a guitar-playing female, but also with a female on drums. With a Juno award-winning producer signed on to produce the group's debut EP, Courage My Love will likely only continue to grow in popularity throughout Canada.
