Cowboy and Indian

Formed by Jazz Mills, of T-Bird and the Breaks, Jesse Plemmons, an actor best known for his role on the television series Friday Night Lights, and Daniel James, of Leopold and his Fiction, it's surprising that Cowboy and Indian had time to create music for a new band. Coupled with the fact that the band wrote most of its songs long-distance, with two members in Austin and one in San Francisco, it's impressive that the trio was able to fulfill its intention of recording and touring together. Despite the obstacles surrounding its formation, Cowboy and Indian has managed to amass a respectable amount of buzz both in Austin and the Bay Area for its folksy indie rock.
