Formed by members of various underground Ontario bands, including Moneen and Alexisonfire, Cunter (formerly called Hunter) is a five-piece supergroup. Deciding to intensify the sounds of its members' other bands, Cunter creates hardcore punk with horrorcore leanings. After signing to Toronto-based label Dine Alone Records shortly after forming in 2009, the band has since released several singles and consistently toured around the indie venue circuit when not busy with its primary bands. While Cunter's music might not be for the faint of heart or easily offended, it has developed a devoted audience of fans more than happy to mosh at its shows.
