Jess Hill

Jess Hill is an indie folk singer/songwriter from Vancouver, Canada who infuses her special brand of music with a tint of the blues, which, to some, lends itself to comparison with the work of Tom Waits and Regina Spektor. Despite the slew of critical praise coming in for her music, Jess Hill isn't quite ready to let all the attention go to her head just yet. Since the release of her acclaimed debut LP, Road, in 2006, Jess Hill has been extremely busy performing at festivals and venues throughout Canada, ensuring that audiences who made the effort to hear her recordings had the opportunity to experience her talent live; and so far, not one person has yet to come away disappointed.
