Lynae and Denis Dufresne, together known as Pear, are two Canadian country pop musicians from Calgary. With Lynae handling the vocals and Denis bringing the duo's twangy folk and alternative country style to life musically, Pear is establishing itself as one of Canada's more promising crossover country acts, managing to appeal to fans of both the sugary pop side of the genre as well as the grittier one. While touring, the duo expands to a fully-formed lineup that includes drums, electric guitars, mandolin and Lynae's impressive fiddle work.
