Afrobeta is an electronic music and DJ duo based in Miami that was formed in 2006 as an experimental platform for DJs Cuci Amador and Smurphio to showcase their own unique brand of avant-garde electro-pop. For the several years following its formation, Afrobeta grew to become one of Miami's premier live electronic acts, garnering several "Best of" awards from Miami New Times in the process. Having already achieved legendary status in their home city, Afrobeta has released an EP of its work titled Do You Party? and has begun touting its musical wares at festivals and venues throughout the world.
