With its frenzied rhythms and abrasive electric guitar assault, Glass Hits does its best to evoke the feel of classic 1970s and 1980s post punk outfit. Echoes of groups like The Birthday Party, Pere Ubu and Fugazi can be easily heard in the band's viscerally intense songwriting. The five-piece outfit is currently based out of Denver, Colorado, where it is a fixture amongst the small but devoted set of bands aiming to recapture the raw energy and piercing volume of vintage post punk.
