Comprised of the production and DJ pairing of Craig Morrison and Graeme Reedie, Silicone Soul is a prominent house music project that has been a staple in Scotland's electronic music scene since the late-1990s. The duo creates swirling dance tracks that couple the steady pulse of deep house with a chilled-out, 1970s disco aesthetic. Repeated vocal refrains and cut-up samples are commonplace, as is the use of poly-rhythmic percussion tracks layered atop the feel-good sheen of bouncy synthesizers and vintage keyboards. Silicone Soul has done reasonably well on the UK dance charts throughout its career, even managing to score a number one hit in 2001 with "Right On!"
