New Orleans raised indie artist AM and English groove artist Shawn Lee have begun a beautiful collaboration combining both of their talents to create smooth and funky melodies reminiscent of both artists' love for vintage tunes of the 1960s and 1970s. Their debut album named Celestial Electric features tracks that can put listeners into a trance or a slow sway. Both are accomplished music makers in their own right, but their collaboration is quite noteworthy. It began after AM heard Shawn Lee on the radio in Los Angeles. The two began sending each other beats and songs recorded on a vintage tape machines. They both mixed layers of their signature sounds to create melting melodies and smooth beats.
