Youth Lagoon

Youth Lagoon is the music project of Trevor Powers, who writes songs like journal entries. His nostalgic bedroom electronica songs are typically centered around memories of the past and his feelings of the present. While many of his tracks have an ethereal and dreamlike quality, his lyrics tend to be poignant and personal. Powers released his debut album under his Youth Lagoon moniker in 2011 and having since continued to release well-recieved LPs in addition to keeping a busy performance scheduel, Powers has proven his worth on the modern alternative music scene.
