GoGo Star (고고스타) is an indie pop/electro rock band from Seoul that has risen to become one of the city's hippest independent electro acts. Since forming in 2007, GoGo Star has been a constant fixture on Seoul's Hongdae district every since it debuted it's infectious mix of drum and bass, rock and electro at many of its live music and concert venues. In 2008, the band released its first EP of material GoGo Party to rave reviews, giving many who may not have had a chance to hear GoGo Star live a taste of the band's tremendous sound and charisma. Reaction to the band's unorthodox, though highly entertaining electronic sound has been extremely positive, giving GoGo Star the push needed to release its first full-length album, Last Show, in 2011 to much critical acclaim and fan satisfaction.
