CatPeople was born out of the chance meeting of vocalist Adrian Perez and bassist Fito Rodriguez at the Santi-Rock Festival in 2002. Paco Iglesias and Javier Abalo later joined the gang, rounding out the indie outfit and contributing to the signature post-punk revival sound. After a number of acclaimed studio albums and a 20-date tour through Spain and Portugal, CatPeople branched out in 2007 to play shows in the rest of Europe and grant a wider audience the chance to hear their exquisite music. The members are also multi-talented: aside from their musical skills, Adrian Perez and Javier Abalo have also directed a few of the band's music videos.
