It is easy to hear why James Reyne has a series of platinum records, both as a solo artist and with his former band the Australian Crawl. His song writing and composition seems to be effortless yet remarkably crafted. He's got a folk and pop sensibility similar to that of Neil Young, and utilizes a host of background singers to compliment his own voice. Over 30 years after he began writing and performing with Australian Crawl he still records with a sharp wit and fresh sound.
