The Duke & The King is a self-proclaimed "soul-folk-glam ensemble" reminiscent of those damed traveling bands of hippies that emerged from Topanga Canyon in the 60s. The band's indie folk style has garnered much international acclaim since the release of its debut album in 2009 and its compelling live performances are nothing short of mind-blowing. The Duke & The King has been compared to the likes of such greats as Simon & Garfunkel, Sly & the Family Stone and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
