Formed in 2001 in the small Norwegian town of Kristiansund, the alternative rock band 120 Days moved to Oslo, the country's capital, shortly after forming--a move that warranted the release the band's debut EP in 2003. After signing to Scandinavian stalwart music label Smalltown Supersound, 120 Days released its eponymously-titled debut album in 2006 to critical and commercial acclaim. Though some popular Northern European music acts are tragically caught in the doldrums, unable to find a sizable fan base overseas in the US, 120 Days has proven itself able to lasso a viable North American audience.
