With a glittering pop sensibility at the core of its sound, Burnt Ones has been creating a fuzzy mix of garage rock and psychedelic punk since its formation in 2009. The three-piece band captured the attention of Bay Area rock fans with its debut LP Black Teeth & Golden Tongues, in 2010, offering a reverb-drenched, tremolo-textured pop/rock/punk sound that highlights the songwriting prowess and love-making vocals of front man Mark Tester. After contributing its track "Strawberry Tomb" to Castle Face Record's Flex II: Son of Flex compilation with other San Francisco heavy-hitters such as Ty Segall and Thee Oh Sees, Burnt Ones released its sophomore full-length record You'll Never Walk Alone, in 2013.
