Zenzile

Conceived in the late 1990s, the electronic group Zenzile is one of the pioneers of the French dub scene. The six and sometimes seven-piece ensemble released its debut album in 1996 titledDub promozione followed by a string of ten albums before it released its EP Meta Meta, under the name Zenzile Sound System. With a more electro than dub sound, the album was a departure from the groups longtime sound. Zenzile further evolved its sound on the 2007 record, Living in Monochrone, which has a post-rock sound with intricate guitar riffs.
