Stevie Jackson is a musician and singer/songwriter from Glasgow who is most known for his work with indie pop band Belle & Sebastian. Jackson's melodic style of guitar and his use of reverb has become his characteristics associated with his playing, so much so that he has adopted the nickname Stevie Reverb. Before meeting Belle & Sebastian band mate Stuart Murdock, Jackson played in a short-lived band called The Moondials. Shortly after The Moondials disbanded, Murdock recruited Jackson in 1996 to complete Belle & Sebastian and turn the music project into a full-time band. Jackson's debut solo album (I Can't Get No) Stevie Jackson, a minimal mix of indie-pop and folk rock, was released in the fall of 2011.
