Morten Harket is a Norwegian pop singer most known for his work with the pop/rock band A-ha. While A-ha was still active, Harket released his gospel-inspired solo album, Poetenes Evangelium in 1993, with the majority of the lyrics sung in his native language. His second solo album Wild Seed, released in 1995, featured English lyrics and became much more of an international success than his debut effort. Adding to his repertoire of classic pop music, Harket released Letter From Egypt, in 2008, which pushed him further into the international music scene.
