Lanie Lane

Australian songstress Lanie Lane sings in a timeless style that has garnered her comparisons in sound and feeling to legends such as Doris Day and The Andrews Sisters. Though she has a long way to go to reach the peaks of those aforementioned acts, Lane does indeed seem to draw inspiration from such vintage sources with her mix of country, folk, pop, blues and jazz music from the mid-20th Century. Impressed by her music, style and infectious personality, Jack White of the White Stripes helped break Lane to a much wider audience when he produced her raucous 2011 single, "Ain't Hungry."
