Sinster Souls is an electronic DJ/production duo from The Netherlands that specializes in dark drum and bass and dubstep. The group consists of Adriaan de Koning and Fred Huurdeman, who work out of the city of Utrecht. Characteristic of the increasingly popular dubstep style, the duo creates gritty, hard-hitting tracks full of aggressive bass tones, warble-heavy drops and cut-up vocals. A history of work in more tried-and-true electronic genres, such as techno and drum and bass, give Sinister Souls a good amount of 1990s rave culture sheen as well. The duo continues to build its fan base with festival and party appearances throughout The Netherlands and all over Western Europe.
