Taking its name from an old 70s sign from a cheap fashion shop, Jeans Team is a duo of electronic musicians who now tour with their inspirational sign, using it to light up the stage at every show. Formed by Franz Schütte and Reimo Herfort, who founded the galerie berlintokio, one of Berlin's most popular underground clubs in the 1990s, Jeans Team came to be in 1995 and quickly became an international presence. Blending techno with electro, pop and the occasional vocals, Jeans Team has toured throughout Europe, Russia, Canada, the US and even China. With no intention of slowing down, the duo continues to create new electropop gems and influence budding artists in the prolific Berlin electro scene.
